Children and Youth

Children of all ages are welcome at all our services, and each of our churches have toys, books and other activities available for children to enjoy.  Some of our Sunday morning services are specifically all-age, family-orientated.  In the other Sunday morning services, there is the option - if you wish - for your children to go out and continue their worship with the help of Bible readings, crafts and games on the day's theme.  We also have a number of weekday groups for toddlers, children and young people.

All-Age and Family services

Our usual pattern of all-age, family orientated services is as follows:

St. David 1st Sunday
10am - All-Age Worship with Eucharist
St. John the Baptist 1st Sunday
10am - All Age Worship with  Eucharist
St. Mark 10am - All Age Worship with Holy Communion - children are very welcome at all our services

Faith & Fun Youth Group

Faith and Fun is a group for 10 to 17 year olds.

We meet fortnightly on a Tuesday at St David's Church Hall at 6 - 7.30 pm (not during school holidays).  We have fun learning about God and relating this to our daily lives and to the challenges of growing up today.  Twice a year we have an outing, at Christmas and as we prepare to break up for the school summer holidays in July.  We also hold fundraising events such as a Pancake Evening on Shrove Tuesday and Car Washes.

If you would like to join us or fund out more please contact Kathy Wilcox (kathsimon@talktalk.net).
